Your turn Invermere!
Don't miss out on this free learning opportunity.
We've partnered with Kootenay Employment Services for a Business Development Series funded by Government of Canada’s Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities. Throughout 2025 we'll have some incredible speakers join us on a variety of topics relating to disabilities in the workplace.
To start us off, we have Jenine Lillian speaking about Neurodiversity in the Workplace, providing education for employers when hiring people with neurodiversity through lived experience.
Jenine Lillian (they/them) is a neurodivergent consultant, educator, artist, writer, and librarian. For more than 25 years, Jenine has taught information literacy and professional development in the United States and Canada.
After receiving a very late-in-life diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Jenine started their neurodiversity consultancy to raise awareness, reduce stigma and increase inclusion for neurodiversity and other invisible disabilities. Jenine lives in the West Kootenay's, BC, Canada where they can be found making art, talking with folks on sidewalks, birdwatching, building community through volunteering, and practicing self-care. You can connect with Jenine at info@jeninelillian.com and explore their website at www.jeninelillian.com.
