The Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Town of Creston and Columbia Brewery, is proud to host Dash 4 Trash, a community-wide garbage pickup event on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Timed to coincide with World Environment Day on June 5, Dash 4 Trash is about more than picking up litter—it’s about taking pride in our valley, working together for a cleaner, greener community, and showing the next generation the value of stewardship.
It’s entirely free to register and everyone is invited; individuals, families, businesses, and organizations—to lend a hand and make a visible difference in our neighbourhoods, streets, and parks.
Students from Canyon Lister Elementary School and Erickson Elementary School will also be participating, making this a true community effort from all ages.
Following the cleanup, all participants are invited to a Community BBQ at Columbia Brewery, with food, drinks, and fun to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our volunteers.
Let’s work together to keep Creston beautiful. Grab your gloves, bring your team, and join the Dash 4 Trash!
Thanks to the generous support of Fortis BC, RDCK Areas B & C, and Pealow’s Independent Grocer, this year’s cleanup is completely free to participate in. Everyone is invited—individuals, families, businesses, and organizations—to lend a hand and make a visible difference in our neighborhoods, streets, and parks.
